Mr. Katende Jimmy Rodgers is the founding partner of Katende Serunjogi & Co. Advocates. He is responsible for Quality Assurance and Business Development at the firm.
Katende has specialized in Acquisitions and mergers, he is also a Land and Property Acquisition Specialist. He has experience in Corporate Law, Procurement, Taxation and Revenue law, conveyance, done numerous Civil and Criminal Litigation.
Among other portfolios, he for many years worked as an Advocate with Nambale Nerima & Co Advocates, handled conveyances and other legal work in the High Court of Uganda and other courts subordinate thereto.
Jimmy R. Katende is a Volunteer with East African Centre for Constitutional Development and also provides Probono Services for marginalized people.
Katende graduated with an LLB (Honors’) Degree of Makerere University, He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice of the Law Development Centre, Kampala and BIFA (Hons) from Makerere University; He is trained in Alternative Disputes Resolutions and has studied at The East African School Taxation.
